Factory Resetting Alphasmart Neo
13 May 2023My Alphasmart Neo was crashing whenever I attempted to open a file:
Bus Error Accessing: 0x4000000
Next Instruction At: 0x5CB43E
I factory reset my device as follows:
- Power off the device
- Hold down right-shift, and hold down backspace
- While holding down both keys, press “on”
- Reset password:

Next I opened it up and changed the CR2032 battery inside.
